Chop House
(Preview our new CD live!)
From our vast library
comes a concert made up of the most challenging
literature ever. Renaissance music in grand
polyphonic style, rarely performed Baroque compositions,
opera overtures, virtuoso solos featuring each member of
the Texas Brass, and original 21st century
compositions make this recital "all tough with
no fluff!"
Sounds of the South (Outdoor
Festivals)

including eleven original compositions reminiscent of Texas, Louisiana and
Mexico. Meet the artists and composers following the program.
Download and print the liner
notes from the CD.
Classical Recital (Community Concerts)
Texas Brass plays a variety of music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical
and Modern periods. Narration and dialog to introduce compositions add a
personal touch to the program. Additional music
to compliment the season such as patriotic or
Christmas songs may be added by request.
The Brass Facts (Grades 5-8)
Study the history and evolution of the brass instruments in this multi-concept
program. The Texas Brass takes us on a journey through the renaissance,
classical and modern eras of music. Students will compare the sound of a quintet
to that of a quartet, trio, duo and soloist.
Go for the Gold (Grade K-4)
Representing five different countries, the Texas Brass takes a unique look at
the relationship between music and sports. Witness the strength, agility, speed
and grace of our musical athletes as they compete in our Music Olympics.
Students enjoy cheering for their favorite musician and help in selecting the
winner as our contestants "Go for the Gold".
