PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE

Principal trumpet, Texas Brass Ensemble
Chamber group plays recitals, clinics, educational programs, ceremonies, and records original compositions for brass and percussion.

Solo Trumpet Performances
First place Boston Symphony Young Artist Concerto Competition award. Solos with the Boston Pops, Esplanade Pops and The Woodlands Symphony by invitation. Soloist with regional orchestras, high school and community bands.

Principal trumpet, Woodlands Symphony Orchestra 
Professional orchestra performing major literature, solo and choral accompaniment, youth concerts and premieres of new compositions.

Substitute and Freelance Classical Performer
Performed with the Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, Savannah, Charleston Symphonies, and Boston Opera/Opera New England. Trumpeter for ceremonies, weddings, church services and union orchestras.

Freelance Jazz and Pop Performer
Performances with Destiny's Child, The O’Jays, Temptations, Four Tops in South Texas Regional Tours, Regency Cruise Ships, Michael Bolton, Theatre Under the Stars, The Ronnie Renfrow Big Band, Ed Gerlach Big Band, Ned Baptista Orchestra. Recordings with Little Joe e la Familia, Voices for Life, The Gypsies, Davie Rowe and solo projects with the Texas Brass.

Conducting and Artistic Direction
Founded the Woodlands Concert Band and  was responsible for bringing the first community band into Montgomery County, TX. Conducted and directed over 30 full concert programs and recruited membership up to fifty musicians in a five year span. Conductor of musicals at Creighton Theatre and Wheaton College (MA).

The Woodlands Christian Academy, The Woodlands, TX
Directs three levels of bands from grades five through twelve and supervises after school private lesson program. Began award winning jazz program in first nine months of employment.

Purchased equipment, acquired and maintained music library, assisted in band hall design, employed private lesson teachers and created a music program with instruction offered to students from grades five through twelve.
