THE TEXAS BRASS ENSEMBLE EDUCATES AND ENTERTAINS!

"Your program is both inspiring, educational, and entertaining. The kids really loved it, as it was easy to tell. I did as well."
Joel Luks, Education Director, Young Audiences of Houston

Darryl Bayer is an educational specialist with over twelve years of experience for two independent schools as Director of Instrumental Studies. Trumpet students from Baytown to Conroe (and in-between) have studied privately with Mr. Bayer over the past twenty years. A number of these students are Texas All-State alumni and many have gone on to pursue professional music careers. Darryl served on the roster of Young Audiences of Houston from 1986 to 1992 designing and presenting classical and jazz education programs. Returning in 2003 as a solo artist, Darryl has developed a new show for YA, "Fanfares and Flourishes", that uses cross-curriculum concepts to include history, sociology, physics, math, science, physical education and the fine arts.
